I am reading widely- inhaling- books as research for a project on the artistic history of Borderline Personality Disorder/EUPD.

Today it includes:

Heroines by Kate Zambreno
That Reminds Me by Derek Owusu
Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse
Birds of Prey: Harley Quinn by Amanda Conner etc
Bobby Baker: Redeeming Features of Daily Life by Bobby Baker etc

I fucking love that title- “Redeeming Features of Daily Life”.

I feel like I am redeeming this period of time by writing and writing and writing and writing. My hypergraphia is still spinning on Day ? ? (I haven’t been able to count the days- I don’t have a functioning memory), and I can’t read these research books without writing all over them. It’s in pen. It’s permanent.

I don’t know when I last went out. I’ve gone full on hermit.

I’m enjoying it. No-one is touching me. I think social distancing actually does me good. I’ve been dressed in pyjamas for…I don’t know- a while though. I change them when I shower.

The only way I can make sense of this time is by literally making something out of it. Absorbing and releasing. Absorbing and releasing.
